Description:

The intern will ensure that our online communications are sharp, stays fresh, engaging, and informative. This will include creating new content for the AAE’s website, Facebook, Twitter and blog accounts. Most importantly, the Communications Intern will evaluate our current strategy and recommend improvements to our online communication.

○ Create articles to be published on online newsletter “Energy Matters”
○ Update, edit and post articles and images to AAE’s Website, Facebook and Twitter
○ Create and post bi-monthly blog articles on relevant issues
○ Track Alliance media hits weekly and monitor the media regularly
○ Evaluate current communications strategies and recommend improvements.
○ Need to be available for outreach events

Length of Internship: SPRING SEMESTER (January to May)

Time Commitment: Min. 10 hours a week, in office, for the duration of the agreed upon service.
