Are you hoping to develop skills to complement your existing creativity?Berning Marketing & Productions is a a full-service New Orleans marketing and advertising agency providing full production and post services. We have an in house 2000 sq. ft. sound stage with a cyclorama greenscreen / white stage and are fully equipped for all aspects of video production. Our post production capabilities include three HD edit suites running Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 and Avid Media Composer, all of which are networked together to allow simultaneous work on a single project, and easy sharing of files.
We are actively seeking the best of the best at the college level to join our Post-Production internship program. Our internship program is designed to provide upper level students with the tools, environment and guidance to prepare for the transition from school to full-time employment. We provide a crucial skill set that will help emerging students gain the knowledge to be functional in the career world. Whether collaborating with a team on video projects or envisioning and executing ideas on your own, you can contribute to our clients success while gaining valuable skills and knowledge from experiences pros.
This is an unpaid internship with school credit available.
ResponsibilitiesAssist Senior Editor
Create motion graphics
Edit video
Research information on a project-by-project basis
You may even have the opportunity to get behind a camera, or take on another on-set job
Qualifications:
RequirementsBasic knowledge of Avid Media Composer and/or Adobe Premiere Pro
Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects
Creativity and flexibility
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to complete tasks by a deadline
Strong desire to improve skills
Bonus QualificationsKnowledge of Adobe Creative Suite components
Ability to troubleshoot software/hardware problems
Knowledge of 3D modeling software
Other relevant experience such as camera operation, work as a grip, recording sound for video, etc.
