Earn college credits while acquiring beneficial work experience in business administration and sales! We have a unique position at WARM2Kids where our interns gain invaluable insight into operating a small business through working within different areas of the company. WARM2Kids seeks a self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills and desire to help kids. THIS INTERNSHIP IS NOT LIMITED TO THE ACADEMIC YEAR!

WARM2Kids provides a much needed resource to mentors serving youth organizations like Boys & Girls Club of America, YMCAs, and Jewish Community Centers. We offer adolescents and teens an exciting, comprehensive, social and emotional (SEL) development program to promote well-roundedness. Mentors, kids and their peers complete monthly programs, participate in quarterly events, and learn valuable life lessons not taught in school. WARM2Kids, along its strategic partnerships, outfit a Teen Center with computers, accessories and furnishings to enhance the environment where they learn and play.

We are seeking interns to work on a variety of interesting projects. Examples include:

• Explore WARM2Kids target markets, analyzing how best to deliver our products and services
• Provide sales team with background information/presentations on potential donors
• Discover crucial needs in areas where WARM2Kids is implemented
• Identify how potential vendor partnerships fit – mutual missions, compatible market demographics
• Assist sales team in implementing fun and creative marketing approaches
• Research cause-related marketing

Qualifications:

Interns must enjoy working in a very unique environment with a young and passionate staff. Be willing to assume a variety of other duties, as this is a small office and we all wear many hats. Intern should have experience with Excel, Powerpoint and Microsoft Office. Candidates should also possess an outgoing, proactive personality and positive attitude.
