Description:

The intern will assist with the development of Learning Center Program as well as aid in day-to-day operations and logistics. Intern will be responsible for a wide-range of projects including the following:

Internship Responsibilities
•Research best practices in programming for youth and families
•Reporting/feedback from the learning centers
•Help implement our communication strategy with:
oExperts
oYouth Centers
oAdolescents
•Assist in the planning of expert workshop logistics
•Write/edit communications
•Other office duties as assigned

Internship Requirements
•Follow WARM2Kids guidelines and expectations
•Act in a professional manner
•Complete work in a timely and accurate manner: on-site or work from home/school
•Contribute creative ideas and insights
•Attend weekly progress meetings
•Complete academic project and career services paperwork (as required)
•Gain as much as possible out of the experience (new skills, career ideas, contacts)

Youth Organizations
Students will be working on site with program directors and WARM2Kids Experts in health, mental health, education, etc. to implement fun and fulfilling activities for youth ages 10 and up. There will be a supervisor at the WARM2Kids office and onsite at the Learning Centers. Our locations include local Boys & Girls Clubs, YMCAs and Jewish Community Centers around Massachusetts.

Qualifications:

WARM2Kids seeks individuals with a strong commitment to helping adolescents that enjoy working in a small grass-roots company. Intern must be a detail-oriented with the ability to work on several tasks concurrently. Ideal candidates should possess strong communications and written skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
