Marketing Director Intern

The Reading Co-operative Bank Marketing intern will help prepare and implement the 2011 strategic marketing plan for a 6 office community bank. Located at 180 Haven Street in Reading, MA, interns will work in a women led, rapidly growing yet responsible institution. This semester will be particularly interesting because the Bank will be celebrating its 125th anniversary in 2011. Intern assignments will vary daily and support public relations, advertising, event planning, client experience, community relations, copywriting and design initiatives, allowing the candidate to gain exposure to many marketing elements in one place. Intern tasks will include but are not limited to event facilitation, drafting press material, managing charitable requests, media monitoring and administrative duties. This position requires a minimum of 8 hours per week and is unpaid. Qualifications:
Interest in Marketing and commitment of at least 8 hours a week. Must be able to get to Reading. Within walking distance of the commuter rail and free parking available.
