GadgetGoRound is a Boston based e-commerce that provides a simple and hassle-free way for consumers to get paid for selling and recycling their used electronic devices. GadgetGoRound is prepared to claim the college market. Throughout the 2012 spring semester, GadgetGoRound is searching for paid interns to lead sales/marketing divisions at Universities in the Boston Area. A GadgetGoRound intern will receive full marketing reign over his/her University. This is a great opportunity for a student to have a major resume builder and earn A LOT more cash than work-study. All interns make substantial commission per item sold and receive incentives for reaching sales goals

Responsibilities:
• Design campaign strategies customized to respective university
• Assemble a strategic promotion timeline (posters, fliers, referral cards)
• Regularly track and present results to Manager of Business Development
• Reach monthly sales quotas
• Implement Marketing Tactics:
o Guerrilla marketing
o Social media
o Relationship marketing

Qualifications:

All interns should be outgoing, ambitious and entrepreneurial-minded with a love for meeting new people, working with a team and being creative. The ideal candidate is excited about the opportunity of having real world marketing, sales, and promoting experience. Student should be willing to collaborate, work hard and take ownership of university initiatives. Must have experience with social media.
