Volunteer International Programs Coordinator
(Latin America Focus)
United Planet is looking for a volunteer Program Coordinator Intern to join our international team, beginning in July, 2012, for at least six months (20-35 hours per week schedule). You will administer and develop our current international volunteer projects in Latin America. United Planet expects to have two openings for this position.
Job Responsibilities:
• Communicate with Country Coordinators in Latin America
• Communicate with volunteers and assist in their international experience preparation
• Assist in strategy development
• Promote the programs to potential volunteers
• Work together with the Marketing & Communications team to raise awareness for our activities
• Assist in updating website information regarding related projects

Qualifications:
Spanish skills required
Fluent English skills
Strong written & verbal skills
Creative, innovative, & efficient
MS office knowledge
International experience required
Good knowledge of Latin America
