Web Development Intern
Description:
Have you maxed out your wizard skills? Seeking a proving grounds to master your front-end development tech tree? We’re looking for a talented Web Development Intern to join Learning Games Network’s Cambridge studio, starting September 2012 for an initial engagement of 4 months. You’ll work with our team of producers, designers, and programmers to deliver engaging and playful user experiences for the web.You will be expected to:
- Diligently support and capture bugfixing and quality assurance efforts
- Work with producers and designers to implement designs in semantically clean HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript templates
- Work with our production and development teams to iterate on design features
Qualifications:
- Current undergraduate or graduate student in computer science, software engineering, interaction design, or relevant field
- Experience in the following: CSS3, HTML5, Javascript/AJAX, jQuery or similar JS frameworks, PHP, or WordPress
- A strong passion for video games, web design and development, and UI/UX
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite a plus
- An ability to communicate effectively and embrace team collaboration
