UNITED PLANET
VOLUNTEER INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM COORDINATOR
(ongoing positions in Boston – part-time or full-time)

United Planet is looking for several volunteer (unpaid) program coordinators to join our international team for at least six months (strongly preferred). Candidates for both part-time and full-time positions will be considered. You will administer and develop our current international volunteer projects in various regions. Please indicate any preferences:

Program Coordinators (several positions) (international and US programs)
(6 months, beginning summer, 2013)

Alumni Relations Coordinator (August, 2013)

Peru Intern – summer and fall, 2013

Program Coordinator Main Responsibilities:
• Communicate with local coordinators based internationally
• Communicate with potential and enrolled volunteers and parents of volunteers, via email and phone
• Coordinate international experience preparation and logistics

Alumni Relations Main Responsibilities:
• Communicate and build relationships with returned international volunteers
• Facilitate Volunteer Mentor Program

Other Responsibilities (all positions):
• Assist with extra projects as suited to your skills and interests and the needs of the organization
• Assist in updating website and other materials regarding related projects
• Work together with the Marketing & Communications team to raise awareness for our activities

Qualifications:
 International experience required
 Fluent English skills
 Strong written & verbal skills
 Strong customer service skills
 Self-starter, can work well independently
 Detail orientated and well-organized
 Creative, innovative, & efficient
