Marketing Intern
Description:
We are currently seeking a Marketing Intern who craves new skills, considers themselves a social media rock-star, and isnt afraid to tackle big projects. This is an unpaid internship working with the Marketing Director and other administrative members of Dune Jewelry. You will be working on real projects that are vital for the growth of the organization and to our customers.

Requirements:
Firm grasp of available tools and platforms in the social media space
Completed or working toward a college degree, preferably in a related field (e.g., English,
Marketing/Communications, or Public Relations)
Previous internship or related experience in marketing or communications
Computer and Program Proficiency (must have regular access to personal compute )
Adobe CS5 (Illustrator / Photoshop)
iWorks / Microsoft Office
Basic Knowledge of HTML, WYSIWYG and CMS
Graphic Design and Production Design a plus
An effective communicator, both written and oral
Ability to communicate in a professional manner with press and community contacts
Self-motivated, good organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines

The Learning Process:Tags:Support the Organization of Dune Jewelrys master marketing schedule
including all weekly tasks, on-going campaigns, promotions, administrative
meetings and more
Plan and facilitate specific Marketing meetings with Marketing Director including distributing agenda and taking minutes
Work closely with Dunes owner, Holly Daniels Christensen and Marketing Director, Dustin D. Bell to create a consistent marketing structure and plan for 2013/14
Support Dune Jewelrys social media presence, including scheduling updates, posts and implementing Dunes promotional events
Assist in planning, writing and managing monthly eNewsletter and other online PR opportunities
Draft, distribute and pitch news releases, media alerts and other stories
Design flyers, graphics, e-vites and other marketing material for all Dune Jewelry Marketing campaigns and major events hosted by Dune Jewelry
Update DuneJewelry.com when needed
Collaborate with staff on new ideas, directions, and venues for marketing opportunities
