Fall/Winter/Spring Internships:

During the fall, winter, and spring at Jacob’s Pillow, key strategic work, preparation and planning occur for the upcoming summer Festival season. Internships during these seasons can be tailored to the applicants specific skills and interests, including management of artist materials (photo identification and cataloguing); collection and organization of artist press materials; assistance with writing, marketing, and design of Education Programs and Festival materials; and website development.

Qualifications:

Positions are available in press and graphic design. Applicants should have a desire to promote dance, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn. Candidates must be detail oriented and computer literate (internet, Word, Excel); experience with PageMaker desirable for certain projects. Two writing samples are required. Graphics applicants must submit a portfolio of recent design work with their application. Please send a self-addressed stamped envelope if you would like your portfolio returned.
