Description:

Do you have an eye for editing and grammar and a heart carved out for the teens and twenty-somethings of this world? Do you make a living writing emails for your roommates and forming friendships via Facebook chats and email emoticons? Do you have a big heart, a dictionary, and a few hours a week handy? We want you to apply for our editorial internship this fall.

Responsibilities:
- 10 to 20 hours a week
- working with editor to review incoming post submissions
- corresponding with writers about edits, scheduled posts and topic ideas
- editing photos to correspond with posts
- communicating with potential guest writers and new team members
- updating spreadsheet with interested writers, team info, etc.

Qualifications:

- previous editorial experience
- familiarity with Google Docs
- experience working in a team environment
- experience with photo editing (preferred), including basic software such as PicMonkey
- experience with the WordPress platform
- some SEO knowledge or blogging best practices also a plus
- experience with MailChimp a plus
- passionate about using words to make an impact
