The Real Heroes Award Breakfast is a community event that honors people in the surrounding area who have shown outstanding leadership related to the Red Cross mission. The Real Heroes Fundraising and Communications Intern will work closely with his/her coordinator to find auction donations, communicate with sponsors, and advertise the event to find potential Heroes nominees. This is an unpaid internship.
Qualifications:
•Self motivated, ability to follow instructions and complete a project
•Personal computer skills (familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
•Proper communication and writing skills
•Personable
•Ability to work with Coordinator, employees, volunteers, sponsors, and nominees
Hours:
~10-15
