Description:

Program Eligibility & Submission:
•Applicants must be enrolled in a university pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in the field of Marketing, PR, Communications, Advertisement, or General Business
•Eligible for internship college credit
•Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
•Two letters of recommendation

Responsibilities/Training:
•Research untapped marketing opportunities / partnerships and present to team.
•Research potential new advertisers/vendors/sponsors and maintain list
•Assist in implementing advertising campaigns (i.e. newspaper, magazine, radio and online)
•Help manage and organize distribution of marketing materials, such as flyers, promo cards, and advertisements
•Write press releases and distribute to local media; help make follow-up calls to media representatives
•Organize outreach campaign to local churches, non-profits, neighborhood associations and community groups.
•Write monthly e-newsletter to mailing list subscribers
•Track marketing benefits offered to sponsors and ensure that sponsor marketing benefits are provided
•Assist with development of social network sites and website maintenance

•Goal-oriented, driven, determined, consistent, and passionate.
•Exceptional writing and communication skills
•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
•Able to work well independently and in group settings.
•Punctual, reliable, and honest.
•Must have own laptop or desktop
•Work remotely
