Product Photography Internship – February 2013 – May 2013

Responsibilities:

Produce high quality product images, ensuring they are color consistent and correctly exposed. Knowledge in set design, and lighting to capture an image that represents the product accurately with minimal photo retouching. Communicate with social media employee on a consistent basis.
The shopify site is already built; we are just needing the pictures of the products. I am open to the intern taking products back to their studio to take photos, as long as they meet the deadlines.

About Val’s Vintage:

Women’s vintage apparel and accessories store in Excelsior, MN. The environment is very laid back, however we expect everyone to be self-motivated and perform at a professional level. Currently we have a brick and mortar store; however we are launching an on-line store (which this position will be taking the pictures for).

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

Ideal candidate will have experience in a studio environment, shooting product on models, and jewelry. Strong digital photography, lighting, and working knowledge of Photoshop are very important. They will also be self-motivated and be able to give recommendations and help build a creative and fun site.
