Description:

As an intern, you will be directly involved with various aspects of social media and marketing efforts for our clients. This includes, but is not limited to:

Working on the ground floor of a startup project
Interacting with fans in social networks, video upload sites, and message boards
Bookmarking/tracking sites and results
Implementing social media strategies outlined by Thumbprint Marketing
Brainstorming ideas for social media calendars
Creating content (Researching and writing content for clients that is SEO friendly)
Handling Customer Service
Writing and posting blogs
Implementing Email campaigns

This internship is unpaid, but there will be opportunity for growth after your internship is over with evaluation.

Qualifications:

Requirements:
A major in marketing, public relations, communications or related field
A clear interest in marketing and social media
Strong written and verbal skills
The ability to work with limited supervision
Creative thinker
Experience with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, Linkedin, Pinterest, Digg, Google+, Wordpress
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Must be dependable
Photoshop and HTML would be helpful, but not required

Hours:

10-20 hours per week
