Description:

Duties: The candidate performs on-site inspections of rental, residential and commercial properties to determine extent of damage and costs to repair and/or replace real property, vehicles, personal property, machinery and equipment and other items. Schedules appointments with applicants, answers questions at the inspection site, and calculates the cost to replace or repair damaged items. Prepares worksheets using automated software and transmits data electronically. Higher-graded positions may involve working with businesses with multiple subsidiaries, apartment buildings, and condominium associations.
