Description:
The candidate will serve as Global Manufacturing Compliance Lead and report to Chief Counsel of Legal Divisions Manufacturing and Operational Support (MOS) Practice Area with a close affiliation to Corporate Compliance Group. Will chair the quarterly Global Manufacturing (GM) Compliance Committee meetings. Oversee GM and Divisions compliance programs, which includes: risk identification, assessment and mitigation; development of training curriculum and program in key areas; and updating of policies and procedures. Partner with Corporate Compliance Group on FCPA governance. Coordinate and implement FCPA compliance initiatives for the client groups. Serve as a resource to Corporate Internal Audit and help prepare Divisions and GM for internal audits. Manage and understand Divisions and GM docket of compliance investigations and serve as resource to Global Investigations Group. Coordinate communications including updating Divisions and GM leadership on on-going environment and government investigations and informing Corporate Compliance of Divisions and GM compliance program. Work closely with other compliance leads to ensure consistency and leverage best practices. Advise with respect to the implementation, coordination, support and oversight of import and export control compliance programs, including customs valuation and other requirements, anti boycott, economic sanctions and export controls. Perform the following activities: mapping existing compliance procedures, risk assessment, reviewing and updating as needed an international trade compliance manual to address identified risks, deployment of screening software and providing training on international trade matters globally. Qualification and Experience The candidate should have a J.D. degree (or equivalent training and experience that qualifies the candidate to practice law in home jurisdiction) with a strong academic background. Must have 7+ years of legal experience advising clients concerning legal and/or regulatory requirements applicable to the manufacturing, procurement, import (customs), export, international trade, marketing and/or promotion of pharmaceutical and biologics products, and/or products, services and technologies related to dosage forms and solutions provided to healthcare and related industries.
