Description:

Duties: The applicant will be responsible for the following global transfer pricing matters: Implement policy, procedures and practices regarding the pricing and documentation of all intra-group transactions, as well as reviewing implementation. Identify and recommend appropriate action in areas of responsibility to mitigate the transfer pricing risk in light of the increasingly diverse and challenging commercial, regulatory and tax environment. Assist to defend global TP policies within the globe/region. Provide TP advice to Global Business Units and ensuring they are kept up to date on transfer pricing matters. Manage the implementation of transfer pricing Global Transfer Pricing Models, including development and maintenance of various transfer pricing models to support business operations and comply with applicable transfer pricing policies. Provide support on taxation/transfer pricing aspects of large complex global transactions. Assist business and regional tax teams with TP compliance, identifying, documenting and periodically reviewing related party transactions. Liaise with the various business streams providing TP input by developing a clear understanding of business needs and expectations and implementing appropriate TP solutions that support their requirements. Produce and champion best practice controls and documentation standards to achieve optimal standards of TP compliance. Develop knowledge and technical skills through on-the-job training and attendance at external courses/presentations. Applies an understanding of local and international tax law to improve tax compliance and practices. Provides guidance and oversight related to tax planning (tax initiatives, tax incentives, transaction tax issues, and financial reporting). Ensures timely and complete tax reporting for area of responsibility. Accurately identifies and resolves sources of financial systems risks. Applies advanced knowledge of tax strategies to support strategic decisions. Provides recommendations to business decision-makers by interpreting data and understanding tax legislation requirements. Qualifications: A Bachelors degree, preferably with an advanced degree in economics, tax, accounting or finance, or an LL.M. degree. 8+ years of relevant experience or experience education combination. Transfer Pricing Experience with global manufacturing business. Ability to work under pressure to demanding deadlines imposed by project timescales or tax authority requirements. Complete systematic understanding and thorough knowledge of professional accounting and financial reporting systems as well as MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Superior communication, leadership, consulting, influence, and negotiation skills. Exceptional financial and business acumen. Excellent project management, problem solving, and analytical skills, and the ability to execute a project within the scope of overall strategies. Willing to travel domestically and internationally.
