POSITION SUMMARY

The IT Manager/ and Coordinator (Intern) is responsible for establishing the target audience for the website and identifying the type of content it will host. The web designer/developer will write the programming code, by adapting existing website software and graphics packages to meet organization requirements. This position is also responsible for the planning and management of information services for information technology as well as the appropriate application of social and new media tools in support of the Program. This position includes strategic and operational planning, development and implementation of an end-to-end information management regime and related standards and guidelines, and the oversight of web application development, intranet maintenance and development for the effective implementation of information technology (IT) infrastructure and operations. The position also coordinates activities of IT and intranet support, including the architecture and maintenance of the CECs web site.

Education: IT
Experience: Online Marketing, Marketing and International living experience.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Design and programming of websites and content management systems
Programming online platform
Webpage maintenance
Occasional travel required.

*Please note that flights, visa costs, insurance and travel costs associated with getting from the airport to InGlobed in Himachal Pradesh are not included.

Fees:

InGlobed is self-sustaining organisation still its infancy, while we do not charge weekly or monthly fees to participate, we do ask our interns and volunteers to pay a one-off administration and legal fee prior to arrival. This fee helps the organisation to cover the costs of running an international internship and volunteer program, including local legal fees, facilities, staffing costs and recruitment. We do not make a profit from your fees nor do the fees pay for the academic programs that we offer. They simply cover the cost of hosting interns and volunteers.
