We are a small hedge fund in Midtown NY seeking 2 exceptional individuals with marketing, communications or public relations experience for an unpaid internship

Qualifications:

You MUST have the following:

* Strong excel or database skills
* Strong writing and verbal skills
* Strong presentation skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Web technical skills a plus
The ideal candidate would be willing to develop a PR/Communications unit which would result in:
• Communicating the company’s views regarding the global financial climate and related markets
• Developing new investor contacts and servicing existing ones
• Promoting a book written by one of the principals
• Establishing media relationships for the purpose of booking principals in relevant venues
• Maintaining a database of contacts
• Aiding in a capital raising effort

The position is initially unpaid but can convert into a paid position depending on the firm’s success and the individual fit. This is a unique position for the right person. Strong work ethic and an upbeat personality is important.
