Special Events Spring Internship

Description:

The Intern will assist the Development Department with key tasks as they relate to the chapter’s fundraising events: event logistics, committee management, and maintaining relationships with sponsors, vendors, volunteers, and event participants. This is an unpaid internship. The intern will:
- Assist in securing sponsors, vendors & volunteers for fundraising events
- Help maintain the logistical documents pertaining to each event
- Support event participants in their fundraising efforts

Qualifications:

Student must be currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Business, Non-profit Management or a closely related field. Strong computer, written and verbal communication skills are necessary for successful completion of duties.

Hours:

20-30 hours a week
