Description:

Fantastic opportunity for business, marketing or finance student! Leading financial services firm with clients ranging from small businesses and serial entrepreneurs to major corporations and private equity firms seeking business-minded intern. This internship will provide the ideal candidate with significant exposure to corporate finance, business operations and marketing opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Intern will report to the Principal of North Carolina operations; Research local and regional businesses in a variety of industries, database management, direct mail &online marketing, website development/SEO, graphic design, public relations, phone follow-ups, creation of client presentation materials.

Candidates will not be required for any set amount of hours but would be in their best interest to attend 2 to 3 days a week. Half days are always possible so they may be exposed to as much industry knowledge and experience as possible. Office hours are from 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday.

There are many diverse aspects of the firm in which you will be entrusted. You will be required to execute a Confidentiality Agreement due to the sensitive nature of the work.

Qualifications:

-Ambition with interest in marketing, business development and corporate finance
-Entrepreneurial self-starter with strong business sense
-Detail oriented
-Excellent computer skills, Web and PC based business managment/tracking software programs (Microsoft Office, Salesforce.com, etc.)
-Direct and Internet marketing experience preferred.
