Spring Online Marketing/Web Intern

Established Furniture & Home Décor company seeking an Internet-savvy, Photoshop and social media-loving online marketing intern to assist with building our online presence, making creative on Photoshop, social media, blogging and administrative duties.
Position is a part-time spring internship. Perfect for college students with marketing, PR, eCommerce and art design interests. 20-25 hours per week. A stipend OR school credit will be offered at end of internship as compensation.
As a Web Intern, you will participate in a variety of marketing projects in a fun, fast-paced environment. Working within a small web department, the intern will be given a unique opportunity to learn hands on transferable skills within a diverse array of website and PR disciplines.
The marketing intern will conduct marketing research, web outreach on social media, helping us create art on Photoshop, adding and editing content to our sites, assist with direct mail campaigns, possibly help write for our blog, and much, much more.
Requirements: Knowledge of social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter, Polyvore, Kaboodle, Flickr, etc), knowledge of how a blog works, basic HTML knowledge, great writing skills, an imagination, an eagerness to learn, dependable work ethic, solid Photoshop skills, and very solid with Excel. Please be a quick learner and problem solver. Previous internship experience working online a plus.
