Description:

Duties: Responsible for providing regulatory and commercial legal support to the R&D/Global Development and Medical Affairs and the Global Commercialization organizations within company. Operate as part of a Law Department focused on providing excellent legal service to clients. Will be generally responsible for advising clients on a broad array of issues relating to the drug development and global commercialization process. Responsibilities will include advising on pharmaceutical regulations, drug development, product labeling, regulatory policy, as well as, promotional, antitrust, antikickback, privacy and compliance issues. Is expected to anticipate and proactively identify legal issues that could affect the Company as a whole and advise clients on how to resolve these issues. Work on cross functional business teams, and also work with other lawyers in the Law Department to provide comprehensive advice to clients. Qualification and Experience Requirements: Should have 7+ years of legal experience, preferably with a pharmaceutical company or with a law firm that represents pharmaceutical companies. Experience with regulations governing drug development and/or commercialization is preferred. Must also have excellent interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, qualities of a self starter, and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Must have excellent judgment and the knowledge and ability to involve others that may possess the needed expertise to address issues as required.
