Description:

Provide assistance to Jaws Youth Playbook Executive Director in managing the complex initiatives of the Jaws Youth Playbook. Includes assistance on all event fundraisers, including the spring & fall golf outings as well as oversight of the grant distribution process

Qualifications:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Work with selected staff and volunteers to provide support for all community special event fundraising initiatives of the Ron Jaworski NFL Celebrity Golf Challenge, JAWS Fall Golf Classic and selected other JYP activities & events as assigned.

• Provide leadership & liaison to vendors, volunteers, contributors and other key stakeholders that participate in each JYP activity & event.

• Assist in the planning, development & execution of all silent & live auction activities related to each event. This includes monitoring inventory, procuring auction items, providing an accurate accounting of transactions.

• Assist in the development of all promotional collateral materials related to each event and the JYP in general.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Skills: Good written communications and public presentation skills. Must demonstrate competency in interpersonal skills, prioritizing, time management, planning, data analysis and computer skills.

• Abilities: Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, work independently and/or as a team member. Must demonstrate initiative, self-confidence, persuasiveness, a positive attitude and a drive to achieve.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Ability to speak and hear clearly in person and on the telephone is required 100% of the time.

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.

• A valid driver’s license is required.
