Graphic Designer Intern PositionPOSITION SUMMARY:
A Graphic Designer Intern is responsible for putting any creative touches on photos that have been taken by the photo shooter. This individual should be a talented photo editor and graphic designer. He/she should have the ability to create a wide range of layouts and has the ability to prepare visual presentations by designing different albums. This is a part-time unpaid position, in which the hours vary depending on when the person is needed for specific projects. Being able to be a committed and visionary individual are essential components for this position. We are looking to fulfill this position for Fall 2012.
Graphic Designer should be/demonstrate:
- Edits and collaborates projects to design a formal and final photo project
- Completes projects by coordinating with outside parties including adding any details provided by the person who requested the pictures
- Creative ability to work with pictures and morph them in a suitable manner
- Stick to illustration/format requested by the individual who ordered the specific prints
- Creates any add-ons that the specific person requested such as additional albums, collages or stationary
COMPENSATION/EVALUATIONS:
A Graphic Designer Intern Position is an unpaid position for college credit.
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Ability to work with a range of Graphic Designer Software
• Knowledge of different types of photo layouts
• Ability to perform creative photos and photo montages
• Can work with customer to achieve highest quality of service
• Knowledge and ability to use Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Strong design portfolio
