Blacknaps.org is an online magazine for women of color. Our popular topics include natural hair, fashion, and indie music artists. Since 2010 we have been hosting meetups in the Southern NJ and Philadelphia area and serving as an online beauty resource.

Our Social Media Intern Program Consists of the Following:

*Reviewing our current social media posts
*Developing a strategy for improving social media posts
*Writing a proposal for the new strategy
* Implementing the new strategy

Hours are flexible, work from home, must be able to commit to at least 4 hours per week. This position is not compensated, but after successful completion you will receive a letter of recommendation, documentation for college credit if applicable, and or a reference. This is a good position for a college student, someone seeking to gain experience, or someone seeking exposure as our site has an audience filled with thousands of visitors.

Qualifications:

Must be a college student pursuing a degree in Journalism, Marketing, or Communications
Able to work a minimum of 4 hours per week
Good writing skills
Experience using Facebook and Twitter
Basic Microsoft Excel Skills
Familiarity with Hootsuite or Tweetdeck a plus!
