Description:

Black Naps is an online magazine for women of color. Our popular topics include natural hair, fashion, and indie music artists. Since 2010 we have been hosting meetups in the Southern NJ and Philadelphia area and serving as a beauty resource.

Our Writing Intern Program Consists of the Following:

Writing 3 to 4, 250-450 word blog posts per week
Blog posts must be grammatically correct and spell checked
If photos are used in the post a link to the original source must be included
Topics include beauty, fashion, African American hair care ( you are able to choose what you are most comfortable with)

Upon successful completion you can expect a letter of recommendation
We also can be used as a reference for future job opportunities
Hours are flexible work from home on your computer

Qualifications:

Must be a college student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Journalism, or Communications
Good writing skills
Able to commit to at least 4 hours per week
2 month internship (can extend longer if desired)
