Field Management Intern - Mediterranean Snack Food Co.
The Mediterranean Snack Food Company (www.mediterraneansnackfoods.com) is a rapidly growing (privately held) natural snack food company looking for a Field Management Intern. The ideal candidate should bring enthusiasm and dedication to promoting and operating throughout the Farmers Markets of New Jersey. We are looking for a candidate who will manage event-to-event operations, coordinate products and sales materials needed, promotions, and manage a team. Candidates should be energetic and committed to the success of the Farmers Markets tour.

Location: North West New Jersey
75% travel Must have valid driver’s license with clean record
Job Responsibilities:

• Research and training at the office: 4 weeks from May 14th to June 8th, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.

 Training with the Marketing Department.
 Investigate Farmers Markets for you and your team to attend.
 Scheduling and coordinating the markets.
 Staffing (recruiting).

• Farmers Markets Management: 12 weeks from June 9th to September 2nd, Wednesday to Sunday, 7am-3pm.

 Coordinate event-to-event operations at multiple locations in the Northern NJ/Metro NYC area:
o Handle opening and closing on market days (lifting up to 25lbs. may be required).
o Staying onsite during market hours.
o Manage team onsite (shifts schedules, training, allocation of tasks, and supervision).
o Develop budget projections and inventory tracking.
o Represent and promote Mediterranean Snack Food Company.
o Take pictures for use in Social Media and PR promotion.
o Strategize to increase booth attention.

 Coordinate products and sales materials:
o Listing inventory of products, and supplies management.
o Sales materials (banners, advertising products, demo kit).

 Interface and report directly to your supervisor.
 Draft and send weekly reports to the staff.
 Manage team offsite (shifts schedules, provide information, and supervision).

Key Objective is sampling and selling of our products AND managing the team on and off site.

Minimum requirements:
- College Graduate or current student with a Business Major.
- Computer skills in Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook, Photoshop and In Design a plus.
- Previous experience in Food/Beverage industry and/or team management a plus.
- Motivated to monitor and assist others; “Customer Service” attitude.
- Unlimited access to Mediterranean Snacks™ chips and crackers!
- Compensation: will commensurate with experience (from May 14th to September 2nd).
