*This position is open to juniors and seniors in college looking for experience in social media.*
Responsibilities:
- Assist with Community Management
- Research online marketing and advertising campaigns and update Web sites
- Research and execute best points/rewards system to members
- Collaborate with the Communications Department and report to the VP and Executive Liaison to the CEO
- Discover innovative ways for community outreach
- Participate with staff in outreach events, such as expos, award shows, film festivals, etc., and update social network pages on-the-go
- Provide administrative support and assistance for management and executive team members
- Answering phones and taking messages
- Filing key documents, invoices, etc.
- Updating sensitive information to the data base.
- Compile and prepare materials for FedEx and other mailing relating sources, including dropping off mail.
- Printing, faxing, scanning documents
- Stocking office supplies
- Maintenance of the office
- Set-up conference room for upcoming meetings
- Run errands including bank deposits, etc.
- Duties and responsibilities grow with more experience within company
- Candidate must be willing to challenge him/herself and is expected to go above and beyond of what is expected of them.

Qualifications:

Requirements:
- Preferred Majors: Communications, Digital Media, Public Relations, Marketing, Business or course related
- Highly organized, detail-oriented and a quick learner
- Strong personality and friendly, independent self-starter and outstanding team player
- Professional demeanor, ability to multi-task under pressure, and flexibility in fast-changing environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to exercise diplomacy and tact in handling confidential and/or sensitive matters
- High proficiency with MS Office (especially Word and Excel), using Windows XP/Vista
- Understanding of the ins-and-outs of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Blogger, HootSuite and other related social media applications
- MUST be extremely Tech-Savvy.
- Have Drivers License and own car
