Description:

Position: Web production internship

Location: New York City; Option to work remotely

Qualifications: Must be an undergraduate or graduate student in a related field

Web Production Internship Description:

Report directly to web technology manager and marketing manager
Minimum time commitment is a full semester at 10 to 15-hours/week
Compensation is school credit
Role and Responsibilities:

Post stories to web and email marketing service
Troubleshoot basic formatting and code issues within a content management system
Conduct story photo research, find eye-catching editorial images and format them for use
Help produce content to engage our subscribers through Facebook and Twitter
Assist with special projects, as needed

Qualifications:

Requirements:

Be a self-starter, detail-oriented, organized and capable of managing high-level responsibilities without significant supervision
Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
Experience working with content management systems
Proficient with Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Office
Experience working on SEO and writing metadata
Strong writing, communication, and research skills
Meet deadlines without sacrificing creative quality
You must be strongly interested in active living and sports lifestyle culture
