Company/Organization: Kid Care Concierge

Description:

Eldridge Overton Educational Programs is a progressive educational services firm that offers academic support to students of all ages. Our innovate agency partners with families, school districts, nonprofit agencies, state agencies and private entities to offer enrichment courses, gifted and talented programs, leadership training, remediation and much, much more. Interns work in our corporate office which is located in Bridgewater, NJ.

We are seeking dynamic Public Relations Interns to reach out media outlets to secure positive press on behalf of the organization. PR Interns conduct field related research, creates new contacts and network with existing contacts in order to create visual and written products to represent EOEP. Our unique and highly selective internship program welcomes Interns wishing to engage in a meaningful work experience to apply. Our interns do not just run errands and fetch coffee; rather they are respected members of the Administrative team. Interns participate in planning meetings and are expected to complete tasks and projects in their respective fields of study. Serious Interns are encouraged to apply and submit required documentation for review.

We are seeking an energetic and motivated intern to drive our public relations internship for the upcoming semester. The ideal candidate thinks outside of the box, values education, can effectively communicate orally, visually and in written form and connect well with parents, children and educational leaders.

Various internships (p/t vs. f/t and one semester vs. multiple semesters) are offered. As an integral member of the EOEP, a great deal of time is taken to orientate Interns to the Eldridge Overton system. Accordingly, full time and longer termed internships (multiple semesters) are favored. However, we do hire part time and one semester Interns. Since a tremendous experience is granted via this internship, Interns may either earn college credits (where applicable) OR a monetary stipend. A minimum of 15 hours per week is required. The stipend offered is per semester, but is payable monthly throughout the duration of the internship. Interns working less than full time are offered a prorated stipend based on the number of hours worked per week. All of our previous Interns have been offered entry to competitive graduate programs, positions at top firms and Fortune 500 companies in their respective fields.
