We are a start-up tech company with a high level reputation offering an internship which will provide an opportunity to gain valuable work experience in Public Relations while contributing to our business development process. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn the essentials for maintaining and managing client accounts. You will spend every day here interacting on some level with the two principals of the company, as well as the staff.

Responsibilities
Specific duties include:
• Drafting and editing PR documents
• Media monitoring
• Research and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials
• Collaborate on presentations for management
• Mailings
• Detailed data entry for tracking purposes
• Contributing your ideas and experience to increase the company’s presence in the marketplace including research to find new avenues for public relations

Qualifications:

Interns are expected to be diligent in their work ethic, dedicated, organized and have excellent interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work independently while still being part of a team. You must also have a strong sense of urgency with above average attention to detail and possess creativity and flexibility. Specific days and hours are flexible. Proficiency in Excel a must in addition to being well spoken with an excellent command of the English language.
