Description:

Wenner Media is looking for summer interns to help support the Publicity Department of Rolling Stone, Men’s Journal, Us Weekly, RollingStone.com and UsMagazine.com. The interns will help with tracking media placements, drafting press releases and publicity reports, overseeing press mailings, organizing events, maintaining media lists and other administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment. Internships are unpaid. Summer interns generally work two or three days each week, beginning in May or early June.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be extremely detail-oriented, reliable and have a strong interest in working in the Public Relations field. Additionally, you should be an enthusiastic self-starter who possesses excellent organization, writing, communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and maintain confidentiality. Knowledge of MS Word and Excel required. Prior PR internship experience is preferred.

9am to 6pm
