I run a travel website primarily focused on global art and culture. We are only a few months old and have already established a solid network of twitter followers and Facebook fans and have been getting noticed for our quality content within the travel community. This is a great way to get hands-on experience working with a website that is still in its infancy stage by helping with branding and business development initiatives.

This internship will mainly be remote, with bi-weekly meetings either via skype or somewhere in the city. I�m hoping to find an intern who is genuinely interested in travel, new media and can commit to growing the website. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the travel and online industries and make future connections.

The social media intern is primarily responsible for managing the social media communities and increasing readership and fan interaction. This person will also help write and manage our monthly E-newsletter. I�m looking for someone who is excited about the travel industry, eager to get the word out and a creative thinker who can engage our audience and broaden readership. Basic SEO knowledge a must.
