Sportsrageous.com offers a 12-week internship that will enable journalism students to practice their classroom learning in a real-world environment, and showcase their talents on the fastest-growing sports magazines on the Internet. Writers will receive regular feedback on their work from editors, and will be followed throughout the program by Sportsrageous.coms staff of professional journalists.Interns will undergo on-the-job training to provide a working knowledge of online publishing. This includes: multimedia publishing, writing engaging content for an online audience, optimizing text and headlines for search engines, and publishing on the Internet in a timely manner.
Interns will write on current events in the sports world. After a few weeks of honing newly acquired skills, writers will be assigned game forecasts and recaps. Writers who consistently produce at a high-quality level may be offered a column and assigned to work on exclusive interviews.
Sportsrageous.coms writing internship is 100% online. Writers will work remotely from any location and need only a reliable Internet connection.
Sportsrageous.coms writing internship requires 10 hours per week. That is adjustable based on the interns individual needs. The work schedule is flexible.
Sportsrageous.coms writing internship is unpaid. College credit is provided to those who request it.
