Intern - Digital Marketing
Description:
iHeartRadio is looking for focused and motivated college students to intern for the 2012 winter or spring semester. This position is part-time and unpaid. Students must receive college credit.Interns will be working with the New iHeartRadio online and via iPhone, iPad, Android and BlackBerry. Our app combines the best of both worlds: the nations top live radio stations and Custom Radio stations, and delivers everything listeners want in one free, fully-integrated service. More than 800 of the nations most popular live broadcast and digital-only radio stations from 150 cities, plus user-created Custom Stations which provide listeners more songs, better music intelligence, more user control, deeper social integration. The iHeartRadio app has been downloaded over 45 million times.
In addition to working with the iHeartRadio app, students will be working with 800+ local Clear Channel radio stations on digital initiatives and national projects.
Digital Marketing
Description: Interns will be asked to conduct various online marketing projects such as: growing audience base on our active social networks (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google+), organizing and tracking social media initiatives from 800+ local Clear Channel Radio stations from around the country as well as helping to extending the reach of music programs, news articles and contests to the appropriate targeted fans online. Interns will also work closely with the iHeartRadio mobile application and help track feedback of new version releases.
Qualifications:
Qualifications: Must have a strong interest in social media/digital marketing, possess creative writing skills and have an eagerness to learn. Marketing, Advertising or Communications majors preferred.
Requirements for all internships:-Must be a college student (preferably sophomore-senior) able to receive college credit
-Minimum of 20 hours/week (2-3 full days)
-Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word a must; Outlook a bonus
-Knowledgeable of the web and social media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google+) preferred
-Strong communication skills – written and verbal
-Passion for music and pop culture
-Must be detail-oriented, a fast learner and a team player
