Assistant Exhibition Coordinator
Description:
New York City Art Exhibition featuring 12 blue-chip artists is seeking an assistant exhibition coordinator (intern) for Spring 2012. The internship is flexible at 8-10 hours a week. Intern will play essential role in new media and social networking initiatives to advertise the exhibition. S/he will contact and coordinate with event sponsors for exhibition opening. Intern will also assist Exhibition Director and Guest Artistic Director with catalogue production.
Qualifications:
Candidates should be extremely detail oriented, computer savvy, self-motivated and able to work independently. Excellent communication and organizational skills necessary.
