Korff Enterprises, Inc. is based in New York City and organizes the 12th Annual New York City Triathlon – one of the world’s three largest Olympic distance triathlons – and the Ironman US Championship in partnership WTC, organizers of Ironman races worldwide.

Korff Enterprises is looking to fill various high responsibility positions for both the New York City Triathlon and the Ironman US Championship. All opportunities listed are paid full-time positions. The New York City Triathlon will take place on July 8, 2012 and the Ironman US Championship will take place on August 11, 2012. All interns must be available to work February through August, including some weekends. All candidates will be interview in January/February and would ideally start sometime in February.

All applicants must work well under pressure, be motivated and enthusiastic about events. All applicants must have a driver’s license, be willing to drive a 16’ box truck and work VERY long hours and weekends. Interns are essential to the success of the event and must be willing to do any task asked of them regardless of which position officially assigned.

Please note, that although specific duties are listed, there is crossover in job responsibilities.

Registration, Web, Communications Assistant
• Help manage database of 5,500 athletes and assist in customer service issues
• Work with merchandise team to coordinate merchandise orders and fulfillment
• Manage sponsor fulfillment through email communications and web updates
• Create the staff, event and city guides.
• Manage event social media sites
Qualifications: Very strong computer skills required (Excel a must). Must be organized, detail oriented.
