Description:

New York based Video Journalist seeks smart, enthusiastic and reliable individuals with a keen interest in film and/or journalism for Assistant Video Editor Internship. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn the craft of video editing while taking part in culturally relevant projects exploring topics that range from travels to India and Afghanistan to the Occupy Wall Street movement right here in New York, to profiles and stories of some of the fascinating people that make up our world. The ideal candidate cares about social change and desires to learn professional editing, shooting and producing skills.

Experience with video editing, specifically Final Cut Pro is a plus, although not required. This is an unpaid position, college credit available, and could lead to paid opportunities in the future.

Interns are asked to commit 10-20 hrs a week for the 3 month internship. Schedule is flexible, all work will be done on site in Park Slope studio.
