About the Position:

SecondMarket is seeking University Students to participate in our Summer Internship Program. As an Intern, you will design, build and maintain SecondMarkets applications. Interns work as part of a Scrum Team with a Product Owner, Scrum Master, UX Designer and other engineers to develop, test and deploy code on a weekly basis.

Qualifications:

Desired Skills for the Position:

* Knowledge of Java, Spring, Spring MVC, JMS etc. is nice, but having strong CS fundamentals such as deep understanding of object orientation and algorithms is the bomb
* Excited to work with the latest technologies including mongoDB, Scala, Solr etc.
* Passionate about writing well structured and easy to maintain code
* Want to work in an environment using continuous integration and continuous deployment
* Love solving complex problems
* Must be self-motivated and a go getter
