SecondMarket is looking for an energetic, self-starter, and detail oriented intern to assist the Private Company Market team. This individual will join a dedicated team of market professionals tasked with originating and executing private secondary transactions in some of the most exciting venture-backed growth companies in the U.S.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assist sales team in business development efforts by producing collateral, maintaining up to date fundraising information and news on target issuers
- Proactively monitor venture backed private companies in the eastern region and preparing summaries for the private company team of findings
- Liaise with internal teams (client services, sales team, distribution team) to help create procedural transaction infrastructure
- Maintain accurate information on transaction management system
Qualifications:
Qualification/Skills:
- Must be currently attending college
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong inter-personal skills
- The ability to multi task
- Microsoft Office
- Previous internship experience preferred
