Sel, designer and creator of Cashhimi
exotic handbags, originally hails from
Istanbul, Turkey. With a degree in
Business Administration and a long
career in accounting and finance, Abas
Sel decided to pursue her creative spirit
in 2007 and launched Cashhimi, an
exotic handbag line committed to
serving the discerning taste of modern
women. Close to Abas Selʼs heart, the
name Cashhimi derives from the initials
of her name, the surname of Abas Selʼs
husband, and the first two letters of her
sons, Hiram and Mihram. From sketch
to finish, Abas Sel is involved in every
step of the creation of a Cashhimi bag.
After the design process, Abas Sel
chooses the material from a vibrantly
colored array of leather, python, ostrich,
crocodile, and more. It takes a week to
finish a prototype and each bag
maintains the highest handcrafted
quality. From design to manufacture,
