Grammy award winning artist looking for part time intern ASAP

Brooklyn based artist is seeking an intern with top of the line taste and drawing capabilities. This person should be willing to do whatever it takes to assist our client. Work will include some basic assistant work such as; running errands, writing emails, picking up prints, dropping off film etc. In addition, projects will include anything from magazine ads, band t shirts, fashion t shirts, and product packaging. Some of this work will be handed off to you. Our client is preparing for an art show this summer, so a big part of your duties will be in correspondence to this show.

This person must be punctual, highly motivated and organized. In addition this person needs to have a do anything attitude and will be rewarded with respect and great industry experience.

This is the perfect position for a student or someone who is trying to get experience in the art world. You will be able to walk away with portfolio pieces and our client will help to put you in contact with people when you start looking for a job.

This is an unpaid internship. Our client will sign/show proof to your university if you are a college student looking for an internship for credit hours.

This is a very specific type of experience you will not be able to find any where else.

Qualifications:

MUST currently live in the NYC area, and have at least two references who can be contacted by phone.

MUST have advanced knowledge of adobe creative suite, proven drawing and painting skills, along with photo retouching skills.
