Job Title: Marketing Intern
Location: New York City

MARKETING INTERNSHIP

A small but rapidly growing prestige skincare brand, is seeking an intern for 2012. The right candidate will be a resourceful, detail-oriented multi-tasker with good people skills, a strong sense of initiative and commitment and the ability to think creatively. The interns role will be to support the sales and marketing team.

Responsibilities:
• Work in a team setting to consistently develop and execute marketing campaigns.
• Lead market intelligence and market research, stay up to date on competitors products and be well versed in similar platforms.
• Focus on sales with targeted accounts.
• Manage and maintain a detailed pipeline to achieve assigned monthly quota.
• Helping to develop and maintain a social media strategy including: blog, Facebook page, communicating with beauty bloggers, YouTube reviewers, etc.
• Organizing and managing website updates
• Contacting to editors, marketing partners, retailers, etc.
• Assist in tasks of Business Development and Marketing departments
Requirements:
• Strong communication and computer skills
• High proficiency with social media
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
• A passion for beauty and fashion
• A positive attitude with a whatever it takes to get it done mentality
• Availability to commit part-time hours in our Upper East Side office

Experience: Sophomore, Junior or Senior in College, preferably with a business major
