Seeking recent undergraduates or graduate students with health care and/or fundraising experience to serve as interns working on our 6/20th Annual Healthcare Diversity Awards. Duties include mailing/telephone follow up of gala e-invite to hospitals, health care facilities, managed care and pharmaceutical companies in the Tristate region (NY, NJ & CT.) We provide reimbursement of travel expenses and lunch. Our offices are centrally located in mid-town Manhattan. (46th Street and 5th Avenue) Start immediately. Possibility of extension of internship into the Fall.
The Roundtable is seeking Fundraising Interns who will work in NYC to help support the daily operations of our 501 (c) 3 non-profit the organizations. Responsibilities will include working with the President to outreach to hospitals, managed care organizations and the pharmaceutical industry. The interns will be part of the Fundraising Team in fundraising. Easy access to NYC is helpful. Although this is an unpaid position, we will reimburse local travel expenses and lunch expenses.
Internship Dates: 6/4/12 – 8/4/12, with possible extension, Start Date: IMMEDIATELY
Hours: 10-15 hours per week minimum
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and support the Fundraising Team
• Help create development plans
• Manage paper fundraising appeal mailings
• Manage new membership development initiatives
• Coordinate fundraising and consultant opportunities
• Write and oversee the sending of thank you letters
Qualifications:
1. Computer Skills: Intern must have their own laptop. (WiFi and land line is provided.) Minimum software skills include MS word, Google docs, Excel spread sheet and other Office software. Social media experience is a plus.
2. Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
