SK Energy is an enthusiastic intern for the accounting and finance department eager to gain real world experience for its growing energy shot business.

The Company was founded in 2011 by social entrepreneur Chris Clarke and entertainment mogul 50 Cent, and is backed by a combination of top investors and strategic partners.

Our product, SK Energy, is the best-tasting energy shot in the market, with 100% natural flavors; we also have a unique one-for-one give back partnership with the United Nations World Food Programme, where for every shot we sell we feed a child in need. We are distributed nationally across many top chains, including GNC, Rite-Aid, and CVS, have been featured on shows including Nightline and Rachel Ray.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for an intern to work in the finance and accounting department. This role requires a strong degree of multi-tasking, a sharp focus for details, and an innate sense of urgency to promptly respond to the team. The intern is expected to contribute to the success of SK Energy through innovative ideas and value creation gained both in school and through previous work experience.

This is a paid internship. The role will be based in our Midtown Manhattan office.

Qualifications:

• Interest in consumer products
• Must have (or be working towards) a Bachelors degree from a top-notch institution
• Excellent time management skills with ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Highly motivated self-starter
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Solid interpersonal skills, research skills, analytical skills, and logical approach to problem solving
• Collaborative, with great energy
• Social media fluency is a plus (understands how to use and leverage Facebook, Twitter, blogs)
