Local non profit looking for interested students who would like to pursue career in rewarding non profit sector. The American Cancer Society is the nationwide community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer by preventing cancer, saving lives and diminishing suffering from cancer through research, education, advocacy, and service.

Vice President of Planned Giving looking for assistance in achieving goals of spreading mission and encouraging the community to remember ACS in their estate plans. Work with donors and professional advisors (attorneys, trust officers, cpa’s, financial reps, insurance reps) to accomplish these goals. Intern responsible for office management-making phone calls to set up visits, helping with office duties-mailings, computer work, etc. Great exposure to rewarding non-profit world.

Qualifications:

Qualifications needed:

o All majors welcome
o Organized, responsible, multi-task oriented
o Team player, energetic, effective communicator
o Efficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
o Excellent communication skills
o Internship unpaid but great way to receive work experience
