The business development intern will be assigned to a specific account and report directly to the Account Manager. This outstanding candidate will be responsible for advancing Foxrock’s sales division through: research, lead generation, prospecting, and outreach. This is a great opportunity for an aspiring sports marketer to gain hands-on experience with guidance from a seasoned sports and entertainment team to further their skillset and training for a career in sports marketing.

Primary Responsibilities:
-Participate in business development activities on behalf of clients
-Assist with outreach to sponsorship prospects, including research, brainstorming and development of materials
-Help generate revenue through the sale of creative marketing partnerships
-Develop sales presentations and proposals for new marketing partners by incorporating research and a clear understanding of the prospective partner’s marketing goals
-Support sales team with necessary administrative tasks
-Assist with ongoing Foxrock-related projects
-Monitor publications and trades and distribute relevant articles about marketing, sponsorship and sports/entertainment business
-Conduct research and strategy recommendations for the acquisition of new clients
-Assist with cross-functional projects related to the ongoing maintenance of a sports and entertainment boutique agency

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree (received or expected) with strong academic performance
-Ability to dedicate at least 12-15 hours per week
-Demonstrated interest in sports, entertainment, and sales
-Demonstrated eagerness and ambition
-Strong time management, organizational, and multitasking skills
-Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
